How To Make Brazilian Coffee Cocktail

Add all your ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well for 15 to 20 seconds.

Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Traditional Brazilian Coffee – Cafezinho

Making a traditional Brazilian coffee for this coffee cocktail is very easy. The coffee brewed is a Brazilian cafezinho.

What you will need.

  • 2 Oz (60 ml) of filtered or bottled water per cocktail made.
  • 7.5 grams (¼ Oz) per cocktail made.
  • 1 teaspoon of rapadura per cocktail made.

The best Brazilian coffee beans to use are Brazilian peaberry by Volcanica. Grind to a fine espresso-like grind size.

Add your water to a small saucepan and add your rapadura. Heat your water using a medium-high heat and stir well to ensure the rapadura is fully dissolved. Bring your water to a boiling point and take it off the boil and let it cool for 20 to 30 seconds.

The cooling allows your water to lower to 97C (205C), the uppermost temperature for brewing coffee. Add your coffee grounds and stir gently for a minute. Let your coffee brew for 4 minutes and when it is ready, pour it slowly through a flannel coffee sock filter and into a carafe. Let it drip into your carafe.

When ready, use your cafezinho coffee for making your Brazilian coffee cocktail.
