What Is Nespresso Cafezinho?
As cafezinho is a little Brazilian coffee with a big, big taste and while it is not an espresso drink, the Nespresso Cafezinho is brewed as an espresso.
The name cafezinho in Brazilian Portuguese translates to little coffee.
It is pleasantly slightly bitter with a complex flavor due to the selection of 4 Arabica beans from Espírito Santo, Cerrado Minas Gerais with the flavor enhanced by the presence of beans from Poços de Caldas and Carmo de Minas and the pulped natural Bourbon.
The final cup of coffee is rich, with a velvet-like smooth texture with peculiar fragrances of sandalwood and walnut with some very unusual herbal notes lingering on your tongue with rosemary and thyme making themselves present.
The 4 bean blend of the Nespresso cafezinho comes from various coffee producing areas of Brazil, which are:
- Cerrado District In Minas Gerais State.
- Poços de Caldas In Minas Gerais State.
- Carmo De Minas also Minas Gerais State.
- Espírito Santo.
All the beans used are of premium quality and Arabica beans.
All the beans from Minas Gerais state are roasted together to a higher roast, a dark roast, while the Espírito Santo beans are roasted to a medium roast, which helps to get some unexpected notes into the Nespresso cafezinho and make it an omni roast.
The Minas Gerais beans and their longer roast time and higher roasting level helps to enhance the bitterness, intensity and body as well as the flavor of the coffee.
The Nespresso cafezinho is very aromatic with intense aromas that linger. It’s a very sensual espresso drink with herbal notes of rosemary, thyme and peculiar hints of sandalwood and walnut.
