Ingredients Needed

All these ingredients are easily found locally or online.

  • 4 or 5 Tablespoons of Hershey’s chocolate sauce.
  • Half a cup of milk.
  • Half a cup of Hershey’s semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • 1 or 2 cups of crushed ice.
  • 8 crushed Oreos.
  • Whipped cream.
  •  2 shots of well-brewed espresso or one cup of strongly brewed coffee.

Using the quality of chocolate masters Hershey, and the sauce and chips and Oreos cookies make this copycat recipe easily on par and, in my opinion, better than what you get at Starbucks.

Of course having a home espresso machine is best for making the double shot of espresso. If you don’t have one, a well brewed moka pot coffee or French press will do fine. I’d lean towards a Moka pot over any other brewing method if you don’t have an Espresso coffee maker.

Instructions Step By Step

Follow these step-by-step instructions to make

Step 1: Brew Your Coffee

The starting point is to brew your coffee. Since it is not necessary that it is hot, don’t worry about your coffee getting cold.

Select your favorite dark roast coffee beans and brew a strong coffee. I advise using a home espresso machine and making a double shot of espresso. If you don’t have one, use your moka pot or a French press.

A moka pot is good for “espresso-like” coffee. If you are not using and espresso machine make 4 ounces, 120 ml of coffee.

Step 2: Crush It!

Crush your Oreos and add them to your blender. I crush 7 and the same one for later. Add your chocolate chips, coffee and chocolate syrup. Add your milk too.

You can use any milk that you want, whole fat, low fat, coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk, soy milk and if you want an extra chocolate taste use chocolate milk!

No matter what milk you use, your mocha cookie crumble frappuccino beverage will still have a rich and creamy texture.

Step 3: Mix Well

Blend your mixture well, starting at a low speed and slowly moving to full speed. Don’t forget to add your crushed ice. How much ice you add will determine the thickness of your mix. Keep this in your mind as you add it. I advise that you add slowly and check frequently.

Step 4: Serve Your Beverage

Pour the blended coffee beverage that you have just made into a tall glass, top it with your whipped cream and crush that extra cookie that you saved and sprinkle them on your coffee beverage. For a greater effect, add a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Serve and enjoy.

A mocha cookie crumble frappuccino has very few ingredients, none of which are hard to find or source. Roast coffee in the form of a double shot of espresso, mocha sauce, frappuccino chips that are blended with ice and milk. Other ingredients are chocolate cookie crumble and whipped cream.
