How To Make Your Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew Coffee Sugar Free!

Now you have your ingredients list, let’s get making this tasty cold brew coffee beverage and get right to it.

Step 1: Brew Your Coffee

Using your favorite coffee beans, dark roast works much better for cold brew.

To make 32 ounces (960 ml) of coffee, weigh 4 ounces (120 grams) of whole coffee beans. It is better to weigh your coffee beans when they are whole rather than grinding them first. This improves the freshness factor of your coffee.

(ground or whole, the mass is the same but the surface area that is in contact with air is much smaller when whole).

Grind them to coarse and even grind size with a conical ceramic burr grinder.

Add your coffee grounds to a glass container with an airtight lid. Add fresh 32 ounces (950 ml) of ice-cold water. Mineral water. The better the quality of your water, the better your coffee will be.

Store your coffee and water mix in your fridge while it brews. Brew time is from 16 hours to 24 hours. Test after 12 hours to find out if it tastes great for you.

When your coffee tastes perfect, filter out the coffee grounds using a metal coffee filter or sieve. A metal filter will ensure that all the tasty coffee oils get into your cu of coffee.

Step 2: Make Your Vanilla Salted Cream

Using a pitcher or deep bowl, add your half-and-half cream, add a dash of sea salt and your DaVinci Gourmet sugar-free Madagascar vanilla syrup to it.

Whip your cream with a handheld electric milk frother or a handheld blender. Whisk well starting at a low speed for about a minute and work your way up to a high speed blend.

When your mix is nice and fluffy, it is ready.

Step 3: Mix Your Caramel And Your Cold Brew Coffee

This looks much better in a tall glass. If you are making for friends and want an eye-catching look, drizzle your sugar-free caramel sauce along the inside of a tall clear glass.

Otherwise, if you want to, you can simply mix this with your coffee directly.

Pour your coffee into your glass and add some ice cubes.

Step 4: Top Your Foam On Top Of  Your Coffee

Top your coffee with your freshly made slated cream cold foam. You can spoon it on or pour over the back of a tablespoon to diffuse your pour.

Drink and enjoy.

It is much preferred that you use a sugar-free caramel sauce rather than a sugar-free caramel syrup. A sauce works better with this recipe than a syrup.

Also use a sugar-free vanilla syrup. There is no need for you to add any sugar to this beverage once complete. It should be sweet enough.

You’ll soon find out in the next few sections why I advise the use of sugar free ingredients.
