Caramel Cold Brew Recipe
This part of the recipe, making your caramel cold brew coffee base, is easy, very easy.
All that is needed is coffee, bottled water or filtered water and caramel syrup to add the flavor.
It really is that easy.
Let’s get to the ingredients list!
Caramel Cold Brew Recipe Ingredients
As I mentioned above, the ingredients list for a caramel cold brew coffee involves very few ingredients, which are:
- 2x Starbucks Nariño 70 Cold Brew Pitcher Packs (to emulate Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee).
- 1,440 ml (48 Oz) Of Ice Cold Bottled Water Or Filtered Water.
- 30 ml (1 Oz, 2 Tablespoons) of Caramel Syrup (per 16 Oz of cold brew coffee served).
If you want to use an alternative coffee other than Starbucks Nariño 70 cold brew pitcher packs I highly recommend Stone Street cold brew coffee whole bean coffee. 180 grams for the same 48 Oz (1,440 ml) of coffee brewed will be needed.
Grind to a coarse and even grind size with a ceramic flat burr grinder.
Caramel Cold Brew Recipe Instructions
If you are using Starbucks Nariño 70 cold brew pitcher packs, add two of them to a glass airtight container with 48 Oz (1,440 ml) of ice-cold water and put your container in your fridge to extract for 24+ hours.
Taste test your cold brew coffee after 24 hours. If it is perfect and hits the spot for you, remove the pitcher packs.
Add two tablespoons of caramel syrup to the bottom of a glass and pour 16 Oz of your cold coffee over the top of it and mix well.
If you are using Stone Street Cold Brew whole bean coffee, weigh and grind 180 grams of whole bean coffee to a coarse, even grind size using a ceramic flat burr grinder.
Add your freshly ground coffee to a glass airtight container and add 48 Oz (1,440 ml) of cold water. Let it brew in your fridge for 24 hours.
When 24 hours have passed, run a taste test. If your cold coffee is hitting the spot and tasting great, filter out your coffee grounds using a metal mesh filter.
Failing to remove the coffee grounds will result in the coffee continuing to brew and your coffee eventually becoming over-extracted and too bitter to enjoy.
You can recycle your used coffee grounds by sprinkling them on your houseplants or garden to revitalize the soil.
Add two tablespoons of caramel syrup to the bottom of a glass and pour 16 Oz (480 ml) of your freshly brewed cold-brewed coffee.
Now it’s time to make the salted caramel cream topping. Thankfully this takes only minutes to make.

Add all of your ingredients, yoru vanilla syrup, a dash of sea salt and your dairy products to a tall glass and mix well with a long spoon.
Insert your electric handheld milk frother into the bottom of your tall glass and froth for one minute while paying attention to moving your milk froth through your milk evenly from top to bottom.
When your solution has doubled in volume, it is ready to use.
Pour it over the back of a tablespoon to diffuse the pour and pour it onto your caramel cold brew coffee.
If you don’t have an electric milk frother you can use your French press.
Add your ingredients to your French press and mix well. Then pump the plunger of your French press for 60 seconds or until it doubles in volume.
When it is ready, pour over the back of a tablespoon and into your caramel cold brew coffee.
You can also use your blender. Add your ingredients to your blender and blend for 1 minute at a high speed.
When it is ready and has the desired consistency, add it to your caramel cold brew coffee.
Another method is to add all your ingredients, the 2% milk, heavy cream, dash of sea salt and vanilla syrup to a mason jar or cocktail shaker and shake with great vigor and energy for approximately 60 seconds.
