Light Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Calories – Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Calories No Sugar

There is a light or low calorie version of vanilla sweet cream cold foam that you can order. Going back a good few years now, there was a cascara cold brew that could be ordered with a sweet cream or cold foam topping.

Unfortunately the cascara cold brew is no longer on the menu. Thankfully, Starbuck being Starbucks allows you to fully customize your beverages, which means you can “go to work” on the menu and customize your drink to make the drink and, more importantly, your vanilla sweet cream cold foam topping.

Making your cold foam beverages sugar-free and low calorie is easier than you think. It can be as easy as asking yoru barista to use sugar-free vanilla syrup. On the Starbucks App (available for both iOS and Android), simply swap the standard vanilla syrup for the sugar-free option.

You can also alter the type of milk that you use to make a low calorie cold foam or sweet cream for your cold foam beverages. This one move also adds an exotic flavor to your sweet cream cold foam; just make sure that it matches the flavor of any flavored syrup that you use.

Compared to the original milk of choice, which is whole fat milk unless you order otherwise. Popular alternative milks are coconut milk, almond milk and soy milk. At home, you can consider cashew milk and goat milk. Rice milk is an interesting option too.

Alternative milks will alter the sugar content too due to varying amounts of lactose and will alter the calorie content and, above all, will provide a better quality of calories due to the nutritional profile of nut-based and plant-based milks.

Talking of the nutritional profile, let’s get to the nutritional facts of vanilla sweet cream cold foam and details the fat, cholesterol, sugar, sodium, carbs, caffeine and calories of the beverage.

Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Nutrition Facts

It is unfortunate that gourmet coffee drinks tend to be high in calories, I say high as a coffee on its own right, enjoyed as a black coffee has very few calories, typically measured in the lower single digits.

At Starbucks and other similar coffee shops like Costa, Dunkin’ and Peet’s a lot of the fancy coffee drinks sold are, as I and many coffee fans call them, liquid cakes!

So-called due to the fat and sugar content.

Drink Size Fat Cholesterol Sugar Carbs Sodium Calories Caffeine
Tall 12 Oz (360 ml) 5 g 15 mg 9 g 9 g 20 mg 90 140 mg
Grande 16 Oz (480 ml) 5 g 15 mg 14 g 14 g 20 mg 110 185 mg
Venti 24 Oz (720 ml) 11 g 35 mg 23 g 23 g 35 mg 200 275 mg
Trenta 30 Oz (900 ml) 11 g 38 mg 28 g 28 g 40 mg 220 320 mg

From the table above, Starbucks vanilla sweet cream cold foam is not too bad and is one of the better drinks in terms of calories, fat and sugar.

A word about the sugar content. The healthy and suggested maximum daily amount as set by the AMA, the American Heart Association, is 27 grams for women and 36 grams for men.

It is clear the Starbucks vanilla sweet cream cold foam has a high amount of sugar for the Venti and Trenta drink sizes.

The healthiest vanilla sweet cream cold foam is made with oat milk and can be added to any coffee beverage that you so wish, hot or cold. It is the milk with the best nutritional profile of all the milk options at Starbucks.

Thus,

making your vanilla sweet cream cold foam with oat milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup ensuring the sugar content is as low as possible.

Oat milk contains vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, and vitamin D. It contains calcium and phosphorus.

How To Order A Healthy Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam

Ordering a healthy vanilla sweet cream cold foam is as easy as ordering your sweet cream to be made with sugar-free vanilla syrup or flavor shot and give good consideration to the type of milk that is used.

Although oat milk has the greatest nutritional profile according to the well respected health site, Healthline, coconut milk is not to be overlooked.

Coconut milk is a very healthy option due to having a natural sweetness, and the very healthy MCT, Medium Chain Triglycerides, which are great for your bad cholesterol levels and good for your healthy cholesterol levels.

It’s also great for your hydration due to the electrolytes and contains a great compound called lauric acid which has antiviral and antimicrobial properties.

If you need to sweeten your sweet cream or cold foam and want an enjoyable sweet flavor, ask for honey as honey contains nutrients, and has antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiviral properties.

Use natural alternative sweeteners like honey, stevia, brown sugar, coconut sugar or agave rather than using some unpronounceable ingredient.

Doing so ensures at the very minimum the sugars or sweeteners used and quality natural ones and the calories have value rather than empty calories. If I go over my calorie limit, I am at least doing it with healthy calories.
